Chairmans welcome

Welcome to the Langton Green Cricket Club website. The playing of cricket in Langton has been recorded as far back as 1877, when matches were played on the Green behind what is now The Hare public house (formerly known as The Greyhound). Today, Langton Green CC plays on the recreation ground by the village hall along Speldhurst Road.

The Cricket Club encourages players of all ages and abilities and new members are always welcome. The Club plays ‘friendly’ Sunday fixtures against local village teams.

The social side of the game is important to the Club. Several social events are organized throughout the year, with a weekly newsletter outlining results, fixtures, teams and forthcoming attractions. Throughout the season regular golfing evenings are arranged along with golf days in the spring and autumn.

Fancy a game? Why not contact us through the website or by phone for more information? Better still, come along to the ground for any home fixture and see us in action! You will always be welcome.

See you soon!
